Putting knowledge to the test at the Kanto Plains Brain Bowl

The ASIJ Middle School has had a superb showing at the annual Kanto Plains Brain Bowl competition held at KIST on February 13.

There were 27 teams of four, representing 12 different schools. Each team is made up of four students, usually from four different schools. Our students placed on the first, third, fifth and sixth placed teams.

Questions were about Japanese and world history, geography, English language, science, mathematics, art, music and anything else in a middle school curriculum. Students solved logic problems, completed a sudoku puzzle, identified maps and logos and generally put their minds to the test during an intensive, brain draining 6 hours!
