Middle schoolers win at the All-Japan Junior Squash Championships

ASIJ students Max Sheng (grade 7)  and Sei Antonides (grade 8) represented Tokyo American Club Junior Squash Squad Team under coach Hirotsugu Horie for the All-Japan Junior Squash Championships which took place in Yokohama on March 29-31. Squash is a popular racquet sport played with a soft ball which requires both physical and mental agility.

Even though  it was the first time for both players to participate in an official tournament, they appeared to be very calm throughout the tournament and enjoyed the game. Both came away as champions, Sei as the winner of the under 15 boys B division and Max as winner of the under 13 boys B division. (Patrick Sheng, ASIJ Parent)
