Girls’ soccer teams are close to an undefeated season

The ASIJ Mustangs girls’ soccer program is having a wonderfully successful season, with both varsity and junior varsity teams still undefeated and only a few short weeks remaining in the season. Both teams won their ASIJ Mustangs Invitational Girls’ Soccer Tournament 2013, adding to last year’s tournament championship. Both teams were undefeated in the tournament and neither had a goal scored against them.

Varsity is demonstrating its ability to score with 37 goals for and none against. More recently the Mustangs fought to a 3-0 win over a tough Kinnick team, proving that not only can they play skilled soccer, but play with aggression and passion. A fine performance indeed. With one regular season match remaining against Yokota the Mustangs are in a good position to finish with a perfect league record before heading to the 2013 Far East Tournament in Yokosuka.
