Saying goodbye to our graduating students is never easy. But in a way we’re saying hello to our newest alumni! As the graduating students head out to universities around the world, we wish them the best in many new and exciting adventures.
Tomorrow, June 1, will be the graduation ceremony and today was a day of reflection. The seniors walked through the campus, visiting each area of school, taking photos, and thanking the many people who supported them throughout the years. This ASIJ tradition, the “Senior Walk,” ends with the soon-to-be graduates walking through the historic gate which dates back to 1934. They then gathered in the student courtyard where they view the class stones donated by each graduating class dating back to 1959 and added their own to the pathway. The Class of 2013 has left their mark on us and will certainly be missed! (Lucy Williams, Alumni Relations Officer)
