Eighth grader Caitlin Lightle gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the work going on at rehearsals for the Middle School Musical.
The Middle School musical, Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland, JR.” is in full swing as the actors and crew get ready for the show. This musical is full of singing, dancing, acting, and, of course, fun! Not to mention the crazy costumes and awesome sets!

Ms. Berghahn is hard at work directing the musical—a very tough job. Mr. Neale is working on the crazy, weird set pieces with Mr. Hoskins. Mr. Gilmartin is working on lights and sound while Mrs. Hoff and her costume crew of moms and volunteers are busy sewing away, creating fabulous costumes for the show.

As for us, the student actors, we are busy learning our lines, songs, and choreography, and the student crew is busy with props, lights, sound, and other backstage work. This musical is not only going to be fun to do, it will also be fun to watch! We have some awesome choreography going on, and a few other tricks up our sleeves too… So save the date for the MS musical: Nov. 6 at 3 pm, Nov. 7 at 3 pm, and Nov. 8 at 6:30 pm. You won’t want to miss it! (Caitlin Lightle, grade 8 student)
