It’s that time of year again—when we say goodbye to our graduating seniors and welcome our new alumni. On June 5, the class of 2015 walked the campus as students and parents from every division of the school expressed their heart-felt congratulations. Our graduating seniors had an opportunity to reflect on their time at ASIJ, their accomplishments and the bonds that they have made. The senior walk concluded as the class of ’15 passed through our historic gate, ceremoniously stepped on the stones of past classes and, in the end, unveiled their own class stone.
The seniors gathered at Fuchu-no-Mori Hall on Saturday to attend their graduation ceremony. Melanie Xu and Zach Noddin addressed their classmates as this year’s student speakers. This milestone in the life of our graduating seniors was live streamed and preserved by ASIJ TV for family and friends around the world. It is available for download on the ASIJ TV website.
Although the class of ’15 is slightly smaller than previous years, they have left a big mark on ASIJ. We wish our graduates luck as they move on to universities around the world, representing the best of themselves and their school. Congratulations, class of 2015!
